Product Introduction
The LABRE series continues to evolve.
The LABRÉ strain is a plant-derived lactic acid bacterium and immunostimulant isolated and discovered in the early 1990s from suguki-zuke, a traditional Kyoto pickle, by the late Dr. Tsunataro Kishida. Shinwa Pharmaceutical first commercialized the LABRÉ strain in 1993 and has continued its development ever since.
Nano LABRÉ is a nano-sized lactic acid bacterium derived from the LABRÉ strain. Yoshindo Holdings filed an international patent application in 2012 and has already obtained patents in Europe under the EPC and in South Korea, both for manufacturing methods and as an immunostimulant. The LABRÉ strain can be applied to a wide range of products. Since it can be used in various forms, including solid and liquid forms, it is expected to be used in health foods designed to support health maintenance and promotion, as well as in cosmetics and quasi-drugs such as lotions, milky lotions, and creams.
Development Framework
Sustaining the benefits of health foods through coating bead technology.
Yoshindo Holdings has developed coating bead technology as a new technology designed to allow the functions of health foods to be released over a longer period of time. We have filed a patent application for this technology and will continue its development so that it can be used with a wide range of materials. Foods with Function Claims
NAGOMIN
NAGOMIN is a Foods with Function Claims product containing GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid), created as the first product using our coating bead technology. GABA has five reported functions, including helping reduce mental stress by suppressing adrenaline secretion, improving sleep quality, and supporting skin health.
NAGOMIN was developed to extend the release time of GABA by combining its functions with coating bead technology, with the aim of creating a product that customers will appreciate.
